The Maitland Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located at Queen Elizabeth II Park (previously Ministers Park), just off the New England Highway in Central Maitland. It is the perfect place to source local tourist information and friendly travel advice.
Pick yourself up a brochure or map, or make yourself at home in the lounge. Take your time to compile a personalised itinerary or pick the brains of our expert staff who can produce one for you. Choose from a great range of souvenirs and local products and take advantage of the free WIFI.Â

As of Saturday 1 July 2023, the Maitland Visitor Information Centre will operate as a cashless business. Residents seeking to make a rates payment in cash can do so at their local Australia Post outlet.Â

Open seven days a week from 10.00am to 3.00pm (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday).Â

We're COVID Safe
Maitland Visitor Information Centre is committed to operating in a COVID Safe manner to protect the health and safety of visitors and staff.
Visitors are encouraged to use the hand hygiene station available upon entry, practice good personal hygiene and socially distance. Those who are experiencing cold and flu like symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case are not permitted to enter the facility.
